For the purposes of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, eeelj is the Personal Information Controller (PIC) in respect of the personal data it collects and processes in connection with the operation of the eeelj platform. eeelj determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data and is responsible for ensuring that such processing is carried out lawfully, fairly, and transparently.

eeelj has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing compliance with this Policy and with applicable data protection law. Contact details for the DPO are provided in Section 13 of this Policy.

4. How We Use Your Personal Data

• Account Management: To create, verify, maintain, and administer your eeelj player account, including identity verification and age verification (21+ requirement).

• Legal Claims: To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims in connection with the eeelj platform.

5. Legal Basis for Processing

• Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and eeelj — specifically, the Terms & Conditions you agree to upon registration. This covers account management, game access, and payment processing.

• Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for eeelj's legitimate interests in operating a secure, fair, and commercially viable gaming platform — including fraud prevention, security monitoring, and platform analytics — provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
• Consent: Where eeelj relies on your consent as the legal basis for processing — for example, for sending promotional communications — you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting our support team or using the unsubscribe mechanism in any marketing email.

6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

The eeelj platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as local storage and session tokens) to operate and improve the platform. The following categories of cookies are used:

• Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the platform to function. These include session authentication cookies, security tokens, and load-balancing cookies. These cannot be disabled without impairing platform functionality.

8. Data Retention

eeelj retains your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, subject to the following minimum retention periods:

• Account Data: Retained for the duration of your active account and for a minimum of five (5) years following account closure, in compliance with PAGCOR record-keeping requirements and AML obligations under Republic Act No. 9160.
• Financial Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of each transaction, as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act and BSP regulations.
• Customer Support Records: Retained for three (3) years from the date of the last interaction, to enable eeelj to respond to any subsequent queries or complaints.
• Technical & Usage Logs: Retained for twelve (12) months on a rolling basis for security monitoring and fraud detection purposes.
• Marketing Consent Records: Retained for the duration of your consent and for two (2) years following withdrawal of consent, as evidence of the consent given.

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with eeelj's data disposal procedures.

9. Your Data Privacy Rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by eeelj:

We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

10. Data Security

eeelj implements a comprehensive set of technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:

• Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) encryption for all data in transit between your device and eeelj servers.
• AES-256 encryption for all personal and financial data stored at rest.
• Multi-factor authentication requirements for all eeelj staff with access to personal data systems.
• Role-based access controls ensuring that personal data is accessible only to staff who require it to perform their job functions.
• Regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments conducted by independent security specialists.

While eeelj takes all reasonable steps to protect your personal data, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying eeelj immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

11. Children and Minors

The eeelj platform is strictly intended for individuals who are 21 years of age or older, in accordance with applicable Philippine gaming regulations. eeelj does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21. If eeelj becomes aware that personal data has been collected from a person under 21, it will immediately close the associated account, forfeit any balances in accordance with the Terms & Conditions, and securely delete the personal data collected.

If you believe that a minor has registered on the eeelj platform, please contact our support team immediately so that we can take appropriate action.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

eeelj reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. Where a material change is made to this Policy, eeelj will notify registered players by email or via an in-platform notification at least seven (7) days before the change takes effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent revision was made. Your continued use of the eeelj platform following the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree with any changes, you should cease using the platform and may request account closure by contacting our support team.
